About the Designer:
Hi everyone,
I am Pascalene, but mostly everyone has come to know me as Pascy. I haven't been designing for too long, I think now (September 2013) marks the month where I first started dabbling with things like Photoshop and what not, so I may not be able to do all those fancy things that other people might be able to do, but I make a point to learn so I can maybe bring something new to my graphics and layouts and what not.
Graphic Designing (or so that's what I call this) has become more of a hobby for me, instead of something I take seriously. I by no means want to go into this as a career (not that I have anything against it) but I feel that my time is better spent in another field, namely science. I'm currently in my last year of undergrad, and will hopefully get my degree (Bachelor of Science) at the end of the year. My majors are Microbiology and Biochemistry, and I'm hoping to be accepted into the Honours course for next year in Biotechnology or Microbiology (but I'm definitely hoping I get into Biotech. since I want to work with stem cells and see if there is a way to combat neuro-degenerative diseases and disorders using them). So ultimately, you can guess that I'm one of those people who is looking to cure cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, etc, and whether or not I actually do that is another story all together. But we can all dream can't we???
So now that you know what I'm studying and what I plan to do with the rest of my life, here's some information on other things I enjoy doing:
I love writing and being all creative. I'm trying to get a book of mine up and going (but finding the time to sit and write it is just impossible), and I'm currently an active RP member on Vampirefreaks.com and have created many "forums" based on a more literate style of RP where members actually write a "story" together. (This is perhaps what got me into the whole designing thing in the first place!). I love reading and sketching, and even painting. I was once an enthusiastic horse rider - but unfortunately when you go to university dreams, and other loves, kinda die out as its becoming increasingly hard to juggle time between everything I love to do. But oh well - that's the price you have to pay! :)
